Not much has been going on. We had a good summer. The kids made new friends when we moved to the new house. So they spent all summer outside playing with them. It went too fast. At the end of summer was cambree's 3rd birthday. I can't believe she's already 3 yrs old! The time is flying by. We had a family party for her. It was fun. She got a baby stroller, and a new baby to put in it. She also got pajamas, and books, and some blocks. It was a good time for her. And then school started. I was kinda sad they had to go back already. But now, it's nice. I get to hang out with Camden and Cambree all day. Except when Camden has preschool :) its been a fun summer. I will post pictures later(if my efforts of adding pix didn't work)

Vegas girls weekend

So, my friend, Tish, and I had decided its been too long since we've seen eachother. We decided to take a girls weekend to Las Vegas. It was SO much fun. I can't believe how fast it went. We stayed out as late as we possible could, went shopping, and finally went to see The Lion King musical. It was amazing! The costumes, the songs, everything. I loved it! We went shopping in a few of the hotel malls there. And my favorite was the Venetian. The ceiling was awesome. They were painted like blue sky with a few clouds. We got there around 10:30 Friday night, and it was like daytime in there. I loved that they all stayed open til midnight.
Our first night there, we were sitting on a concrete wall next to the road, and a man walked up to us, and nearly sat on my lap. I leaned over to have some personal space. He was so lost. He asked us where he was going. Like we knew. This man was so out of it. He then said he was trying to get out of our area, and which way should he go? We both pointed to the left, and he told us he didn't think it was the right way. So we pointed right. And laughed. He got mad and told us to stop laughing at him. By then, we decided to go back to the hotel, and we left. I hope he made it to where he was suppose to be going. Both nights we stayed out until 2 am, and by the time we made it back to the hotel Saturday night, we were so not able to walk. We looked like old people walking to our room. We made it to the beds, and crashed. We came home Sunday afternoon. It was one of my best weekends.

Pumpkin Carving Fun, and Costumes

This is Cameron, Conners bff, who lives across the street

Our finished product

On Wednesday night, we carved our pumpkins. I personally hate cleaning the seeds out, and usually it scares Conner and makes him cry. In fact, Ryan likes to scare him with the seeds, just to make it that much more fun. But this year was different. I cut the tops off of the pumpkins and the neighbor kids heard we were doing pumpkins, so they begged to help. I had so many little helpers, it was kinda nice. Conner got right in there with his friends, and didn't even whimper. They all sat on the porch, and I got to take pictures. Then we went inside and carved our cute little faces. I think they turned out well. It was fun. Then last night we went trick or treating. My neighbor, Jackie, and I gathered all our kids, and attempted to go to the trunk or treat at the church. We did good, until it started raining. We got soaked on the way back. And I was kind of disappointed that it was raining too hard to go trick or treating. It did slow down for a minute, and we decided to try it. We got our umbrellas, started downt the road. We got almost all the way down, when the wind blew my umbrella backwards, and broke it. Jackie decided we needed to take her van, and go that way. She put her seats away, and off we went. It worked out really nicely. We hit almost our whole area, and didn't get cold or wet, and got lots of candy:) I think thats how I'm trick or treating forever now.

I love that we have the same pose:)

Cambree's Birthday, Really late:)

So, my last post was the day after Cambrees 2nd birthday. And if I had been awake at all, I would have posted a few pix of her birthday. Instead, I wait til Conners Birthday to post Cambree's pictures:) I will also post Conners bday pics later. For Cambree's birthday, we had the family over, and opened presents. You know, the usual. And she didn't want to blow out her candles. But here are a few pix so you can feel like you were there.

Random Pix

So, I thought I would post a few pix of our summer fun. It went by way too fast. I can't believe the kids are back in school. Although, I have yet to enjoy the peace and quiet that having 2 kids at home would afford me. I've had to work most of the days they were in school last week. This week should be better. I can only say that it will be nice to have Chelsea in school all day, and have the freedom to go where I need to and not rush back. Anyway, I wanted have a few pics up of Cambree getting her haircut, and a few other ones. It was a good summer. We were outside for most of it. Conner and Chelsea made a few good friends in the neighborhood, as did I, and it was nice to be able to hang out and play.
