Camden is 3!

On Feb. 9, my sweet little baby boy turned 3.  I can't believe how fast time goes by.  Anyway, everytime I asked him about his birthday, he'd tell me Micky mouse clubhouse.  I took that to mean I want the movie.  But it was so funny.  Without fail, thats what he'd say.  I asked him what kind of cake he wanted, it was mickey mouse.  So, I channeled my creative talents, of which I have hardly any, and made him his cake.  It turned out pretty cute.
For his birthday, Ryan took the three older kids to see a movie, then when he got home, we had his party.  He was so excited when he saw his cake.  But the best part was when he was opening presents.  He loved it.  I love the age when they finally realize what it means to open presents:)  He loves every one of them, but there was one he loved more than all the others.  You might think it was the Micky Mouse movie, and that was a close second.  But as soon as he opened his little drums, he was done.  He was so excited to have them.  Conner just sat there and watched, wishing he had some drums to play, too.  But my mom put the drums together and for the rest of the night he played them.  All in all, it was a good party.  And the movies and pix I have of him and his drums are priceless.  So, Happy Birthday, Baby Boy! I love you:)

Chelsea Has Lost a Tooth!

My little baby girl is growing up.  10 days after her 6th Birthday, she lost her first tooth.  She beat Conner's age by 5 months.  Yes, thats important, just ask my competitive kids:)  I can't believe she lost one already.  I've never seen anyone so excited about it, either.  She could hardly wait for the tooth fairy to come.  While I'm talking about Chelsea, I'll give an update about her birthday.  I went into her room at 8 am, where she then declared it was her worst birthday ever.  Yep, and 8 am.  It made me laugh.  It did get better for her.  After school she got to open presents, where she got a new Tinkerbell movie, a barnes and noble giftcard (she wanted it), and some clothes.  Then to make it even better, Ryan and I took her to see The Princess and The Frog.  Which was super cute by the way.  Afterwards I asked her if her birthday had gotten better, and she said yes.  So, not a total failure.  Thats always good.  Anyway, here are pix from her birthday, and of course, her toothless smile.

The Polar Express, The family edition (just a little behind on posting)

On Dec. 16th, we went on the Polar Express.  And as you know, we do this every year.  But this year, we thought it would be fun to invite Ryans family along.  So it was Grandma and Grandpa Sparks, Shaun, Sarah, and Addie Mae.  Then all of us.  It was so much fun.  We went to dinner beforehand, and then climbed on the train.  All the kids had so much fun.  Cambree couldn't hold still at all, and wandered between family members.  Camden was so excited to see Santa Claus, he kept HO HO HOing through the ride.  When Santa did actually come to talk to him, he climbed over Ryan and onto my lap to get away from him.  What can I say, Santa is pretty scary close up:)  Ryans parents had so much fun, that Ron told me he is for sure going next year.  I'm glad they had fun.

Lots to update on:)

Ok, so I haven't posted in a while, and I have alot to catch up on. There will be a few new posts. A few weeks before Christmas, my sister in law, Sarah, got tickets to Sesame Street Live.  She has a daughter just a few months younger than Camden, so she thought it would be fun to take both of them.  Camden loves Elmo, so he was pretty much in heaven.  There was a little boy behind us who had a spinning, lighting up elmo.  Which was a major distraction to Camden.  He just couldn't focus on what was going on up front when there was such a cool toy behind him.  So during intermission, he grabbed my hand, and said Come on, and took me to buy him one.  And of course, I did, cause my kids are super spoiled.  After that, though, it was way easier to concentrate.  He loves the show, and has so much fun.  So, thank you so much, Shaun and Sarah:)

By Request, Pictures of Cambree

The baby likes to eat:)

This is how she poses for pix now

So, I was talking to a friend yesterday, and she wanted to see new and currents pix of Cambree.  I am more than happy to oblige:)  She is 15 months, yesterday, and she's walking, and getting into everything.  I thought to go along with her pix, I should also tell a few things that she likes to do.  She goes up very slowly to our DVD player, which we have on for the surround sound, turns it off, and runs away with a devilish little laugh.  It's actually the laugh she uses all the time when she's doing something she knows she shouldn't.  She takes Camdens sippy cup, that he keeps water in, and started drinking, and laughing.  Then she shuts herself in rooms, and when she realizes that she can't get out, she'll just knock.  Ryan has a Goatee, and she refuses to kiss him.  She'll move as far away from him as she can get, and shake her head vehemently telling him no.  She won't go near him at all, which is funny in and of itself.  So there are a few things about my  baby, who is super cute, and well loved.  Hope you all enjoy the pix:)

Student Of The Month

Ok, so I work on mondays, and wednesdays, but is that any reason not to know that your own kid is student of the month?:) I don't think so. Imagine my surprise when on Thursday, I was dropping my lovely little Conner off at school, and he just casually mentions the green paper hanging on the fridge. The one I put up there, cause I saw it laying around, and thought it might be important. I figured I'd ask him about it wednesday. It didn't happen. Let's just say, I've had a busy week, and I hardly saw my kids between monday and wednesday. Thursday was the first day I had to even talk to him. The school was putting on a small program for all the kids who got student of the month. I told him I would go, and then I told Ryan about it. We were both able to go. Just before he came out, I remembered that Conner doesn't like to comb his hair, or wear nice clothes. I warned Ryan that Conner would not be looking his best, cause he just doesn't care. He came out, and his hair was all over the place, and his pants had holes in them, and he looked homeless. Yes, I was the proud mother of this poor little homeless boy who won SOTM for his class:). We got pictures of him, mostly to blackmail him when he gets older, and interested in girls. But also, cause we were proud of him. Good Job Conner! I love you.

Conner's 9th Bday, oh, and Halloween:)

Ok, so most of you know that Conner's Birthday and Halloween fall on the same day, every year. I know, pretty crazy, right? :) He gets so excited, he can hardly contain himself. This year was no exception. He started talking about his birthday around, let's just say, January. He likes that he can go trick or treating on his birthday. Anyway, this year, we, and by we, I mean me:), decided to make my boys pirates, and my girls witches. And if I do say so myself, I had some handsome pirates, and gorgeous witches. Cambree didn't so much like the hat, but I managed to get a few pix of her in it. The kids had a blast. First we went to a trunk or treat on the Thursday before Halloween. Then the kids got to wear their costumes to school for their parades. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pix of Chelsea at hers, cause the class went completely around me. I was so sad. For Conners birthday, we went over to Grandma and Grandpas house for cake and ice cream before proceeding to the best part of the night. The trick or treating! We ended up coming back to our neighborhood to go, which I've never actually done before. We usually go with my aunt tena and her kids. But this year, it kind of got spoiled. I have to say, my neighborhood was fun to trick or treat in, so we'll probably keep doing that. Anyway, here are some pics. Sorry to bore you with a long intro, but, hey, it's what I do:).

My Grandma

I went to Idaho this past Tuesday to visit my Grandma Pincock one last time. It was the only time I was able to make it out to there to see her. I'm glad I went. I got to say good bye to her. She was laying in bed, sleeping, because they had her on morephine. My mom took Cambree up to see her, but she couldn't open her eyes to look at her. Camden went over to her, and he kissed her on the cheek. The nurses had her so she could rest comfortably, and not have any pain. We drove home that night, and at 2:20 am, I got the call that she had died. We had made in just in time. I remember going to my grandparents house in meridian, and my grandma would give us some of her special candy that she had. We would have so much playing on their farm, and visiting with her. I will miss her alot. I wanted to post the last few pictures I have of her. She's holding Cambree in them. She couldn't wait to meet her. She even went out shopping for her, to buy her little baby gifts. She could barely move around when we went. I will always love my grandma.
