This was Crazy!

So, right after we moved into our house, I had the kids playing in the basement. Chelsea comes running upstairs and tells me there's a robber in the basement. So, of course, I have to go look, even though I know there isn't one. We go downstairs, and in our window well is some kind of animal. I thought it was a weasel. But after that, I thought, how the heck do I get this thing out of there? It had taken off the screen, and tried to climb out on that, but that didn't work. And so eventually I called animal control, and had them come get it. It turns out it was a mink. Anyway, I took pictures, and there's one really funny one. It's the dirt from the mink, in it's body shape, standing holding his hands out. Anyway, here are some pix so you can see the "robber".

Our Trip to the Dinosaur Museum

So a few weeks ago, we decided to take the kids to a dinosaur museum. It was pretty cool. They had tons of stuff for the kids to do. In one room they had a huge water thing where you could play with trees and mud, and make things, and see how erosion work. They had stuff where you could feel fossils, and other things. You had to guess what you were touching. And they had a little area where they could go in and dig for a dinosaur. Conner loved it. And Camden got into the dig, and was brushing dirt off rocks. We had fun doing all that. Then we saw a 3-d movie about water dinosaurs. Camden really liked the glasses. He wouldn't leave mine alone. He actually laughed at me when I put them on. Anyway, here are some pictures of our day.

Our Day Trip

So, on Tuesday, we went on a trip to Idaho. My kids wanted to ride horse, which I thought was weird, cause they don't go near any animals. They are scared to death of dogs, and let's be honest, horses are just a bit bigger. But when we got to my grandpa's house, the first thing they asked was to see the horses. And the bigger surprise was they actually went near them. Not only that, they got on one. I was pretty impressed. The only one who seemed a little nervous was Camden, and we even got him on. If only for a second. So these are the pictures to prove they rode a horse. The best part was Conner was deathly afraid, so he's basically laying across the horses back. Afterwards, Conner kept asking if he could go back and ride the horse. My poor grandpa was so tired. So instead of riding again, my grandpa let them help feed the horses. I'm just glad they had fun.

My son's fetish

So, I have discovered that my one year old has a shoe fetish. I thought Chelsea's was bad, but not compared to Camdens. Anytime he finds shoes laying around, he tries to put them on. He picks up his foot, and forces it in the shoe. It's quite comical actually. We have a pile of shoes that we went through, and were going to put away cause they are too small, and he sat there and tried on the shoes. He's not particular, he likes any of them. I just watch him and laugh, and he smiles at me. I hope its not a sign of things to come, cause I can only handle one shoe lover at a time, and right now, its me.

Before and After

Yesterday was a gorgeous day. We decided to go out and enjoy the weather. Camden and Chelsea were riding their trikes. My mom was helping Camden with his. Anyway, she decided she needed to sit down, and rest so she brought Camden over by me, and when both of looked away for a mere second, the trike bucked him off. He fell face first on the cement. He bit the inside of his lip, and scraped the outside of his chin. After we got him all cleaned up, he wanted to get back on. I was so proud of him. This was even after not feeling well since saturday, and the best I can judge is having two molars come in again. The pictures are of him before and after he fell.

Here's my First Post.

Well, here is my new blog. Hope you all like it. Last weekend we went to Lagoon for Mother's Day, and the kids had a blast. Conner rode the colossus, which he probably won't be doing again for a while. And Chelsea rode all the little kiddy rides. I have a picture of her riding the new octopus ride, and after she got off. She got a little wet. :)
