My Grandma

I went to Idaho this past Tuesday to visit my Grandma Pincock one last time. It was the only time I was able to make it out to there to see her. I'm glad I went. I got to say good bye to her. She was laying in bed, sleeping, because they had her on morephine. My mom took Cambree up to see her, but she couldn't open her eyes to look at her. Camden went over to her, and he kissed her on the cheek. The nurses had her so she could rest comfortably, and not have any pain. We drove home that night, and at 2:20 am, I got the call that she had died. We had made in just in time. I remember going to my grandparents house in meridian, and my grandma would give us some of her special candy that she had. We would have so much playing on their farm, and visiting with her. I will miss her alot. I wanted to post the last few pictures I have of her. She's holding Cambree in them. She couldn't wait to meet her. She even went out shopping for her, to buy her little baby gifts. She could barely move around when we went. I will always love my grandma.

Chelsea's First Day of Kindergarten

Yay! She's finally in school:) Peace and quiet here I come! For a few hours anyway:) She goes to Afternoon kindergarten, and it kills her to wait that long. She was ready for her first day at around 8 that morning. She wanted her hair perfect, and so I had to do it a few times. She wanted it curly, and in a pony tail. Then I had to take pictures, so I could always remember this day. She is such a poser! So, here she is on her first day of school, getting ready to go. Doesn't she look so pretty? By the way, there's another new post under this one, it's for Cambree's first birthday. Cute pix!

getting ready to blow out the candle, and eat cake

Yesterday was Cambree's first birthday. So, we threw her a party. It was so much fun! We had alot of people over, had a bbq, cake, and presents. I think Cambree had fun, too. She got a ton of cute clothes, books, a few toys, and some cute jammies. She really enjoyed her cake, so much, that I gave her two pieces. She thought she was in heaven. She picked up the whole piece, and started to eat it. Ryan was watching her, though, and she wasn't sure she should eat it, so everytime she brought it up to bite, she would take it back down. Eventually she realized she was getting the cake, and we were not gonna take it away, and she chowed down. It was so cute. She licked the plate after she was all done. So, because I don't know how to write under the pictures on here, i'll describe them for you. There's on of her cake, which I made:) It was chocolate with orange frosting, and then more chocolate on top. It was quite yummy. I got alot of compliments on it. Then there's one with her in her super cute tutu jammies. And opening presents. The rest you can probably figure out on your own. Thanks for everyone who came, and thanks for the presents!

Random Pix

This is Hope, and Lynnette
and the other one is the back of Hailey's head:)

I haven't updated my blog in a while, because we are super boring people:) We haven't done much lately. And what we have done, I haven't taken pictures of. I guess they just weren't entertaining enough. Although, a few weeks ago, I went to a "Secondhand Serenade" concert with my aunt and cousins. That was fun. It was outside, in a park. So, I have a few pictures from that. And then the rest are of the kids, just around the house. Cambree is in one where she ate a baby granola bar, and bathed in the chocolate. I thought she looked cute.

The Zoo

So, Friday, we got to go to the zoo. The best part was, it was free. I love free stuff. I was so excited to take the kids, and have them look at the animals. Since we haven't been as a family since I was pregnant with Camden, I was looking forward to it. I really just wanted to see how Camden would do. He was awesome. When we got there, I only had one stroller, so we had to rent one, which worked out, cause the zoo strollers had a canopy over the top. We put Cambree in there to stop her from getting sunburned. Everytime we went to see an animal, Camden would say Hi! and wave. Or he'd say Hello. Either way, it was darn cute. I loved it. He really liked the elephants, and the monkeys. Conner could hardly contain himself long enough to wait for everyone else to go with him. He kept trying to leave us. And Chelsea decided that Cambree should share her stroller with her so she didn't have to walk very much. We all had fun, and by the time we were ready to go, we were REALLY ready to go. It was so hot, even my legs were sweating, and I was in shorts:) The kids had a blast, and it got us out of the house for the day, and doing something fun. Which, let's be honest, how often do I take the kids to do anything fun? By the way, I really suck at posting pictures on here, in any kind of order, so any suggestions would be good!:)

Conner

I realize I don't post alot of Conner on here, so, I took a few pix of him in his new glasses. Turns out he's got his mothers eyes:) Yep, my son has one eye better than the other. And he did so much better at this eye appt than his last one. I was listening to him, and i realized he couldn't see very well out of his left eye. Now, I'm all worried that his eyes are going to be worse than mine when he gets older. If thats even possible. Here's hoping that his eyes will slow down on the downhill progression now that he has glasses he can see out of. Here are the pix of Conner in his new glasses, and to make up for the last post, here's chelsea with her hair done. Yep, I actually did her hair. She definately looks better now.

Chelsea's *gulp* Haircut.

This was Camden posing just because he saw Chelsea doing it:)
Before

After

Chelsea decided that she wanted a haircut. I was totally against it, cause, well, I live vicariously through her. I can't grow my hair out, it's almost impossible for me not to cut it. I love the feel of freshly cut hair, it's a problem:) Anyway, back to Chelsea. Her hair was finally getting so long, and I loved it! Then she decided she wanted to cut it. The reason, you ask. Well, it's fairly simple. All of her friends have short hair. Only 5 years old, and giving in to peer pressure. So, I talked to Ryan, and he said she could cut it, but only to her shoulders. So after she got permission to cut it, she begged and begged to go get it cut. Finally, last week, we went on a girls day, you know, we got our nails done, and her toe nails painted. She had fun, so I decided to go get her a cut while we were out. So, here are her before and after pix. She does look cute, and I have to tell myself that it will grow back. Oh, the after pix was taken before I had combed her hair. Yes, I'm lazy.:) It looks a ton better when I actually do her hair.

Chuck E. Cheese

This is Cambree, sitting on the bench, while my cousin Hailey took pictures of her.
This is Chelsea, always posing, isn't she cute?
This is Camden, after he realized he liked the ride. And the one before was him wanting off the ride.

So, it's been a while since spring break, but I have some pictures from what we did. I know, I'm a huge slacker, and all I can say is that, well, I'm pretty lazy. My camera is way downstairs when I usually come upstairs. So today I made the effort to remember to bring it up with me. Anyway, for spring break, or part of it anyway, we went to Chuck E. Cheese with the kids. When I say we, I mean me, and my aunt Lynnette. She also brought her kids. My kids had a blast. I only have pictures of Camden, Chelsea, and Cambree, cause Conner was off playing with his cousin Tristen. He thinks he's pretty cool when he gets to hang out with him. It's so funny to see him with Tristen. One of these days, I'll tape a movie just so you can see how cool he is. So, anyhow, here are a few pictures of them at Chuck E. Cheeses.
