Chelsea's new glasses
The wait is finally over. Chelsea's patience has paid off. She got her new glasses today. Now I can quit feeling bad about her not being able to see. And the good news is, she looks cute. If I looked as cute as she does, I might wear my glasses a little more. I'm glad she looks good, and I'm glad she likes them. I just wish that she didn't need them as badly as she does. Oh well. Here are some pix of how cute she looks.

My Kids
Lately I've been thinking that I should take more videos of my kids. One of these days I'm going to forget how Camden talks, and all the funny things he says. And all the fun things the kids do. So I took a few videos, and just wanted to post them. Camden is a super funny kid. He makes me laugh so many times a day, I can't even tell you. And Cambree copies everything that Chelsea does. She watches her so close. Chelsea will lay underneath the entertainment center to be close to a heating vent, and Cambree will kick her out, and lay there. Conner is all baseball. Everything that comes out of his mouth is about his practice, or his video game baseball. Chelsea is all girl. About 4 times a day, she asks me to curl her hair, or paint her nails. Camden is big time into singing, and iron man, and in the video thats the song he's singing. Anyway, enjoy.

I Get Creative
The other day, we were all sitting around at work, which we do alot, and we were talking. I can't really remember what we were talking about, all I can remember was bringing up chocolate covered bacon. I'd heard of it, but I never really thought much of it, until then. I was describing why it would be good. If you think about it, its kind of the salty sweet thing. I then told my coworkers that I was going to try to make it, and if it was good, then I'd bring them some to try. Well, I did it, and it's very interesting. The kids loved it. Which is saying alot. Most of you know my kids well enough to know that they are the pickiest eaters in the world. I also decided to make cheddar bacon scones. I let the kids in the kitchen to help me, cause I've heard this brings you closer together. I've decided that other people have way more patience than me, cause by the end of our cooking time together, I had banished my kids to the basement. Atleast I tried:) Anyway, the bacon seemed to be a big hit, and the scones weren't so bad either. All in all, a pretty good day in the kitchen. I will now grace you with pictures of both the scones, and the bacon. And a pic of Conner actually eating the bacon. Enjoy:)

Not much going on.
Well, I realized I haven't posted in awhile. I keep thinking I need to update, but the sad thing is, there is not much to update on. A while back, Conner did a scout thing, where he was to make a project from what his scout leaders gave him. He was given a paper bag with a few other things in it. Ryan got to help him with it, so it was good quality father son time:) It was very creative, too. They made a castle being stormed.
And I'll just post a few pix of the kids at my aunt lynnettes house. She has a fireplace, and to decorate it all pretty, she bought a bunch of candles, and put them into the fireplace. When she lights them up, its so pretty. And my kids are big believers in not letting candles burn, so everytime she lit them, they'd try to blow them out. Camden just couldn't do it though. His poor little breathe just couldn't reach the fire. And he tried, so much, that I thought he was going to hyperventilate. His cheeks would puff out, and then nothing. We laughed so hard. Other than that, we're pretty boring. We just stay home, and veg. One of these days, we'll go find something fun to do, and then I can post fun things:)

Camden is 3!
On Feb. 9, my sweet little baby boy turned 3. I can't believe how fast time goes by. Anyway, everytime I asked him about his birthday, he'd tell me Micky mouse clubhouse. I took that to mean I want the movie. But it was so funny. Without fail, thats what he'd say. I asked him what kind of cake he wanted, it was mickey mouse. So, I channeled my creative talents, of which I have hardly any, and made him his cake. It turned out pretty cute.
For his birthday, Ryan took the three older kids to see a movie, then when he got home, we had his party. He was so excited when he saw his cake. But the best part was when he was opening presents. He loved it. I love the age when they finally realize what it means to open presents:) He loves every one of them, but there was one he loved more than all the others. You might think it was the Micky Mouse movie, and that was a close second. But as soon as he opened his little drums, he was done. He was so excited to have them. Conner just sat there and watched, wishing he had some drums to play, too. But my mom put the drums together and for the rest of the night he played them. All in all, it was a good party. And the movies and pix I have of him and his drums are priceless. So, Happy Birthday, Baby Boy! I love you:)

Chelsea Has Lost a Tooth!
My little baby girl is growing up. 10 days after her 6th Birthday, she lost her first tooth. She beat Conner's age by 5 months. Yes, thats important, just ask my competitive kids:) I can't believe she lost one already. I've never seen anyone so excited about it, either. She could hardly wait for the tooth fairy to come. While I'm talking about Chelsea, I'll give an update about her birthday. I went into her room at 8 am, where she then declared it was her worst birthday ever. Yep, and 8 am. It made me laugh. It did get better for her. After school she got to open presents, where she got a new Tinkerbell movie, a barnes and noble giftcard (she wanted it), and some clothes. Then to make it even better, Ryan and I took her to see The Princess and The Frog. Which was super cute by the way. Afterwards I asked her if her birthday had gotten better, and she said yes. So, not a total failure. Thats always good. Anyway, here are pix from her birthday, and of course, her toothless smile.
The Polar Express, The family edition (just a little behind on posting)
On Dec. 16th, we went on the Polar Express. And as you know, we do this every year. But this year, we thought it would be fun to invite Ryans family along. So it was Grandma and Grandpa Sparks, Shaun, Sarah, and Addie Mae. Then all of us. It was so much fun. We went to dinner beforehand, and then climbed on the train. All the kids had so much fun. Cambree couldn't hold still at all, and wandered between family members. Camden was so excited to see Santa Claus, he kept HO HO HOing through the ride. When Santa did actually come to talk to him, he climbed over Ryan and onto my lap to get away from him. What can I say, Santa is pretty scary close up:) Ryans parents had so much fun, that Ron told me he is for sure going next year. I'm glad they had fun.
